“THE SON OF SUPERMAN” Chapter Three: In #3, with a touch that means death, the Eradicator proves he’s a match for Superman, but his super-powered offspring may be more than anyone can handle—including the Man of Tomorrow. The Eradicator has arrived and he's after the Kent family. Can Superman put a stop to it? Synopsis Clark and Lois bring their son to the Fortress of Solitude, because their they have access to Kryptonian tech, which they need in order to find out why Jon is still unconscious (after the fall he took back at the barn). Having entered the Fortress, the first person they stumble upon is the Eradicator. Clark, surprised yet furious, attacks him while asking him how he broke into the Fortress. Lois tells Clark to stop, the walls are already cracking. The fight between the two continues and the walls start collapsing. Lois and Jon are in danger and as the wall collapses, it is the Eradicator who saves them in time. Clark is quite surprised by this and the Eradicator tells him to settle this somewhere else. Eradicator tells Superman that the Kryptonian race is the one true race. His goal is to preserve the purity of the race. Since Jon is half human and half Kryptonian, he would need to eradicate the "impure" half. After this conversation, Eradicator heads over to Jon and as he opens his mouth to eradicate him, Krypto jumps at the right moment in front of Jon, thereby sacrificing himself. Superman doesn't hold his punches, as he beats him continuously without taking a break. Jon is mourning Krypto's death for a wee bit, stands up consumed by rage. “THE SON OF SUPERMAN” Chapter Two: In #2, Superboy takes flight as he accompanies his father, the Man of Steel, on their first mission together to confront a creature more dangerous than anyone realizes. Will the duo triumph...or will they die when they face the lethal force of the Eradicator? In this story, Superman teaches his son how to use his powers. Later, Jon and Kathy have a talk. A new threat is coming. Synopsis Clark takes his son to his first "mission", saving a sub from a huge one-eyed tentacle monster. Clark tells Jon to watch, listen and learn. Unfortunately, the monster attacks Jon, Clark acts fast and opens its eye. Clark tells Jon to use his heat vision precisely, but he was too reckless. Second time, Clark tells him that he can do it, he's his son. Jon focuses and blasts one more time, this time effectively. The monster leaves, therefore Clark and Jon can return home. Back at the farm, Jon and Kathy are sitting in a tree, discussing Jon's powers he has yet to control. Kathy reassures him that he will do fine, in fact, she feels safe being around him. The branch breaks in half, Jon falls to the ground. Cobb Branden, Kathy's grandfather brings Jon home, who's a bit injured. Towards the end of the story, we see a familiar face reaching the Fortress of Solitude, it's none other than the Eradicator. Rick’s drug dealing operation is going swimmingly! Except, of course, that little hiccup where a rival drug operation kidnapped Morty. Can Rick save Morty (AGAIN), even with the dead weight of Jerry insisting on joining him? A ticket for a free replacement Morty is on a nearby counter. Six hours earlier : Rick treats the family to a delicious dinner, paid for by the drug money he has collected while pushing penp juice. He and Morty leave to make a deal and Jerry notices that Summer is missing. Summer is off galavanting in sexy outfits with Peacock Jones, but he is getting wary of waiting so long for Summer to get randy enough to see him as a viable sleeping partner. Five hours earlier : Federal Gromflomites discover that a new drug player has entered the stage. An entire planet has succumb to the penp drug while the penp's lone planet has been destroyed. The Gromflomites prepare to deal with a smart, nasty new dealer. Four hours earlier : Rick is gambling while celebrating his new fortunes but Morty is doing his best to kill the buzz. Rick doesn't want to here any lectures about how selling drugs is bad and leaves Morty with the last of the penp juice while he goes to the bathroom. To show Morty how worthless he is, Rick gives Morty the replacement ticket. As soon as Rick is gone, Morty is kidnapped by the Pep Pep Boyz. Rick is unfazed when he doesn't find Morty outside the bathroom and resumes his gambling. One hour earlier : Back home, Rick asks Jerry whether he has seen Morty. Neither knowing where he is, Rick pulls out a tracker device and locates Morty in Pep Pep Boyz territory. Jerry insists that he accompany Rick to get Morty back. Now : Rick locates Morty and the penp juice in the Pep Pep Boyz's building and he and Jerry walk up to the front door. Jerry is led to believe that assertiveness will win the gang over and he knocks confidently on the door. Rick leaves when the door opens and Jerry is taken inside by Verl, a very large alien that takes Jerry to a room to sit with him. Rick infiltrates the lair and starts picking off individual gang members. He eventually finds his way to the room where Jerry is being held and blows off Verl's head, despite Verl really trying to help Jerry out with his marriage. The two make their way to Morty but are confronted by Little Drug Lord Fauntleroy, who demands Rick's drug recipe. Rick uses hidden mechanical arms to kill the remainder of the Pep Pep Boyz and secures the penp juice while Jerry unties Morty. The three return home. The free replacement Morty coupon is left behind. Gromflomites later show up to the scene to investigate the murder of the drug gang. A witness describes Rick as having four arms and an odd hat (from the restaurant hours before). Most importantly, the witness warns that the man is not one to be trifled with. Pocket Mortys (Loosely based on the "Pocket Mortys" game.) A Dapper Morty, Bunny Morty, Cowboy Morty, and Veiny Morty are running for their lives but are cornered by Rick. Rick, a collector of Mortys to fight other Morty collectors, considers these Mortys as his and adds them to his collection of Mortys, consisting of regular Morty, Biker Morty, Two Cats Morty, and Many Mortys. Blerg shows up and a fight of Mortys begins. Regular Morty helps the new Mortys escape. Jerry shows up looking for the new Mortys, as they were his and they escaped while he slept. Rick mocks Jerry's inability to keep a Morty and gives him Many Mortys, because Many Mortys is gross.

This story takes place after Superman: Rebirth #1 . At Hamilton County, Lois and Clark are trying to build a new life with their son, Jonathan Kent. However, it seems that hiding their secret identity isn't easy, especially for Jon. Synopsis Clark Kent is mourning the death of Superman (New52 incarnation) at his grave alongside Pa and Ma Kent's graves. He realizes that this world still needs a Superman, therefore he dons the cape once more. In the evening, Clark wakes up due to the lightning. Unfortunately, it hit their barn, leaving the animals in danger. Clark goes in the barn and saves the animals before they get hurt. The next day, Jon asks him if they are going to build the barn. Clark tells him that they have other chores to do first. Clark wants Jon to promise him he won't use his powers. Jon promises his dad and leaves with his cat Goldie to fill the corn harvester. As Jon is running behind Goldie, a hawk is approaching Goldie and manages to grab him, at a fast pace. Jon is furious and wants his cat back, using his heat vision at the hawk would be the solution. Conversely, both the hawk and Goldie are dead. Saddened by the fact that his cat is now dead, he's also broken his promise. Moreover, his neighbour, Kathy Branden, has seen him using his powers. At dinner, Lois and Clark are having a conversation whereas Jon barely talks. After Kathy stops by their house to offer them milk, Lois and Clark both agree it will be nice to have a neighbour at Jon's age. Jon disagrees and finds nothing nice about it. Everything they do is a secret, his dad's secretly a superhero and his mom writes books under a secret name. In addition, Jon is secretly half human and half kryptonian. Clark tells him to go to his room to blow off steam. In his bedroom, he sneakily watches his dad discussing something with Batman and Wonder Woman. The Trinity turn their head and look at Jon, all of a sudden. Jon is surprised and immediately disappears in front of the window. His dad enters his room and tells him to come with him. Rick’s old drinking buddy has been dethroned and imprisoned by the new queen that Rick told him not to marry. Rick takes Morty on a mission to restore his buddy’s throne, supposedly because Morty’s such a great travel companion. Of course, Rick doesn’t tell Morty that the aliens on this planet are very germ-phobic and he’s inoculated Morty with dozens of infectious diseases to sneak by them. It’s not like Morty’s going to DIE or anything… probably. They soon realize that sentient technology is not a great idea, as the coffee pot lives its life with constant diarrhea and Summer's phone is a pervert. Jerry drinks the coffee, comfortable with knowing that it is considered the coffee pot's crap. Rick then enlists Morty's help to deliver a message to an old friend of his who is a king that married someone that Rick did not approve of. Since the planet is made up of intense germaphobes, Rick injects Morty with 200 horrible diseases before taking him through a portal. Upon arrival, Morty notes two things: 1) He does not feel well, and 2) Rick has a kill-on-sight order against him. Apparently, the king has been imprisoned by the queen, who continues to harbor intense hatred for Rick. She finds him and orders her guards to kill Rick. The portal gun is destroyed so Rick discloses that Morty is severely infected with tons of diseases. True to form, the queen retreats to get protection, confident in that she knows where Rick is going. Morty lauds him for the bluff. Rick breaks the news that he wasn't bluffing and that Morty has only hours to live. At the cell, Rick begins to pick the lock. Morty begins looking terrible. A really friendly guard shows up; Rick forces Morty's germs onto the man and his head explodes. Rick then unlocks the door and the king jumps out with a shiv. Rick knocks it away and it lands in Morty's thigh. The queen then arrives and launches missiles at the men. Rick makes the missiles sentient; the missiles reason that blowing up is a short life and they fly away. Rick then takes the shiv from Morty's thigh (Morty is now starting to balloon with massive goiters) and stabs through the queen's protection. Morty then rainblows (vomits a rainbow) onto the queen, who is quickly overcome with illness and dies. The king thanks Rick, who hands him a letter that says "I told you so!" Back home, Rick gives Morty the cures for each disease. Summer rushes in to ask how to fix her phone. Rick breaks it, thereby murdering the cell phone. Jerry Decoy Model Rick needs Jerry to act as a decoy on a mission to protect some stuff. He leaves a decoy model of Jerry to fill the gap in the family while real Jerry is gone. Decoy Jerry, however, is way too good at being a husband and father and everyone is agrees that they'd like to keep Decoy Jerry around. Rick sees the mistake in the engineering and blows up Decoy Jerry.

Morty is sick and tired of Rick always being a big selfish jerk, so he convinces Rick to go harvest some "space medicine" on an alien planet. They even bring Summer, even though she won't stop crying about having her heart broken or whatever. But while on the planet, they get interrupted by robobros and some heavy-cologne-wearing dude named Peacock Jones, so Morty might have to resort to some truly unspeakable tactics in order to get the medicine and get home safely. The two get into a philosophical debate but are sidetracked when they find Summer sobbing in the corner of the garage. After Morty tricks Rick into doing something nice for others, he also convinces Rick to bring Summer along. Rick takes his grandkids to Flarbellon-7, a vast, empty planet that Rick uses to routinely sleep off hangovers. Summer, still moping, decides to sit out the adventure when Morty tells her that she might have to stick something up her butt. Rick counters this with the task of clubbing penps, seal-looking creatures that have a fluid in their stomachs that can cure nearly anything. As Morty starts swinging, Summer notices other people. Rick, Morty, and Summer meet Peacock Jones, a spaceman who travels the cosmos with companions. The lucky lady this time around: Barbarica. Barbarica asks if she can kill Rick's group, but Peacock Jones sends her back to the ship. He then explains that he has arranged for a battle for Barbarica in order to get her "excited" and recommends that Rick's group leave before things get tense. Too late, however, as Robobros show up and Barbarica goes into a violent rage. Barbarica seems to have the upperhand until Morty finally clubs a penp, which falls and lands on Barbarica. With Barbarica gone, the Robobros turn to square off against the rest of the group. Morty knocks one's head off with his shovel and Rick deactivates it, which then deactivates the rest. One glitch, however, is that the remaining Robobros are then set to self destruct. Peacock Jones flees and invites Summer to explore the cosmos with him. She accepts. Rick convinces Morty to put a device up the penp's butt to collect the cure-all fluids. They escape just before the Robobros explode. As they fly away, Morty congratulates Rick on procuring something to help others. Rick then admits that the fluid also contains a very powers psychotic, so he will be helping others. Don't Look a Gift-Horse in the Rick Beth is out for a picnic with her dad in some remote location. The day is ruined, however, when aliens resembling horses show up and attack. Rick starts killing but needs Beth's help. As a horse doctor, Beth naturally feels reluctant to do so. Staring down an alien horse she is trying to kill reminds her of an Earth horse she promised to save, yet fails to do in surgery.

After being goaded into an argument with Jerry about the 'noble nature' of sport, Rick takes Jerry and Morty to the biggest game in the Galaxy, where parents bet on their children as they fight to the death in a giant murdertorium! And Morty gets a front row seat! Will Rick save Morty in time to prevent him competing? Will Jerry manage to elude the space mob? Will Morty find love in the bowels of the arena before it's too late? Probably not. Rick and Jerry argue about the value of sports when Jerry challenges Rick to show him a purer sport pursuit. Rick accepts and takes Jerry and Morty to an alien planet. Rick explains that the sport is pure because the contestants and spectators have personal stakes at risk. Jerry is skeptical. Rick gives Morty his lucky, albeit racist, sports cap. The game begins and Jerry and Morty are shocked when they realize that the game is brainwashed children competing to the death to make their parents rich of "investments" (read: bets). Jerry storms off and tries to find a phone port to check the score of his game back home. He mistakenly places a bet and wins some money. He makes another bet and wins again. Then he keeps it up and draws the attention of management. Meanwhile, Rick has picked a fight with another fan whose son seems too puny to compete. Rick gets far too brash and boasts that Morty could beat the fan's kid. A bet is made and Morty is dragged away to await his turn to compete. He freaks out at first, but then realizes that Rick must have a plan. Morty moves to inspire others to have faith in Rick. Topside, Jerry let's Rick know that he's got involved in betting for an organization. The problem with all this is that Jerry mistakenly picked Morty to win. Brinko Slupba, the leader of the organization, invites the two to join him in a private box. Brinko alludes to a poor end if Jerry's pick doesn't pan out. In the field, Morty frantically moves around and comes face-to-face with the other poorly qualified contestants and admits that Rick must not have a plan after all. He doubles down, however, by noting that each of them must also be the victims of abusive elders and tells them to keep on surviving by surviving the fight. They charge out and are immediately killed. Only Morty stands against of horde of massive contestants. Morty is not done and picks up a sword and goes nuts, hacking and slashing his way to a very gory victory. Brinko is elated until the gaming commission busts him for cheating. Rick gets his family out alive, but Jerry had his hands taken away as punishment. Rick then reveals that he made out like a bandit, as he had also bet on Morty. The difference for him was that the "lucky" hat he had given Morty had a special headband that analyzes all outcomes and transmits the best one to the wearer's brain. Morty essentially had to win. Morty gets cheered up with a stack of money and some ice cream.

Having survived their adventures fending off alien invasions in “head-space,” Rick and Morty finally return home just in time for the beginning of the same freakin’ alien invasion. Can Rick and Morty stave off this newest, samest invasion? What awful decisions will they be forced to make? How long will this new galactic empire last? (Maybe 80 years? More? Probably somewhere in there.) The family tries to lecture Rick about keeping a Rick and Morty head in the garage, but they are cut short when the leader of the aliens approaches Rick as the race's messiah. Rick begrudgingly listens to the history of the aliens: They are a race divided by the simplest of differences that have led to civil wars. It was not until recently that a beacon was found in which the aliens could agree that a higher power existed that they could all agree on. The aliens followed the beacon - Rick's toaster that Jerry had tampered with - to Earth. Rick flat-out denies the role of messiah and blames the whole thing on Jerry. The aliens rush Jerry, giving Rick time to flee with the rest of the family. Summer and Beth are captured, however, and Morty is unable to join Rick through a portal. Rick then comes up with a plan to get his family back. Meanwhile, Morty runs into some aliens that boast about how they have engineered the entire struggle with their people. They plan to continue working behind the scenes to accomplish their own agenda and ask Morty to get Rick to sign off on the idea so that they don't have to destroy Earth. Rick shows up and blasts the two aliens. The ruler finds Rick and Morty and begs the messiah to accept his role, the role now being offered to Morty. 180 years later, it is revealed that Morty has accepted the position and is God and his family (minus Rick, who is exiled) live as royalty. Life seems bland, however, and even ninja assassin attacks don't get Morty riled up. Morty orders his mother to extract information from one of the assassins, which she arranges with Mr. TumTum, her horse-faced lover. Morty then asks the assassin who was behind the attack and the group learns that it could be Rick. This is incorrect, however, as Jerry reveals himself to be the architect behind exposing Morty. Jerry kills Mr. TumTum and tries to kill Morty. Rick shows up and kills Jerry and flies Morty into the cosmos as the galaxy explodes. The scene fades out and shows that Morty and Rick are back in the garage with the severed Rick head. Apparently, the whole story was from another timeline with another Rick and Morty in the head of another Rick and Morty from a separate timeline. Morty then asks if there is any way to prevent the same stuff from happening in their own timeline. Just then, Jerry pops in and asks for a screwdriver for the toaster. Rick smacks him and takes the toaster.

Rick and Morty are stuck inside the severed head of another dimension's Morty, and things are getting... weird. They still have a narrow chance of saving their own dimension from alien invasion... but only if Morty can get the science right! Green 2 Synopsis Things in the Morty head are not as precise as Rick would like and he has trouble maneuvering their space craft. Since they are in a Morty's mind, Morty finds a simple solution to getting them home: he hits a control button labeled "Home". Upon landing, Rick notes that they have lost some time between the heads, as it appears that the aliens have attacked Earth. Rick wants to waste no time getting to his garage, as he assumes that whatever the aliens are looking for are there. Before arriving at the garage, Rick and Morty are confronted by two aliens. Rick tries one of his fancy moves but slips. Morty notes that Rick's moves may not work in a Morty head. No bother, as the aliens are quickly dispatched by Summer. Summer is overjoyed to see that Morty alive. The trio moves and Summer explains that the aliens attacked and then kidnapped Jerry. No one knows why yet. The trio arrives at Morty's school and meet up with Beth and a handful of human survivors. Rick learns that the aliens have been in control for 19 months. Beth is trying to get a plan going to rid the Earth of aliens. This alarms Rick, as a plan in a Morty's head could go south real fast. Rick takes Morty to a classroom and tries to teach him everything relevant about the "cosmic dance". Morty doesn't get it. Beth assembles her troops and announces that they have acquired plans for the place Jerry is being held. The plan is to infiltrate the base and kill Jerry, who has apparently been aiding the aliens in building a super weapon. No one knows the details, but is has something to do with the family's toaster. Just then, the aliens attack and take Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and several others hostage. Morty laments how dumb he is and how he can't help. Rick then realizes that Morty is right - Morty is an idiot and doesn't know how things work. As such, Morty's mind doesn't really know how to restrain Rick, who quickly shucks his handcuffs and kills the captors. At the alien base, Jerry is found and his captors killed. Beth then accosts Jerry about helping the enemy. She gets shot and he takes her to the side and explains that he was operating under the assumption that everyone was dead and it didn't matter. Rick sees the toaster and notes that it is too late - Jerry has tampered with it beyond repair and they are all going to die. Morty refuses to believe it and explains that the Morty's head they are in would have a similar belief. Rick sees the logic here and begins harvesting power from the toaster to amp his portal gun. Rick and Morty successfully exit the Morty's brain by literally blowing out of the skull. Rick runs to find his toaster and Morty's family returns home to find him alive. Rick runs out with the toaster - which is now glowing - and demands that Jerry explain what he did with it. Then the aliens land.
