"Panic in the Sky" part 2. Even Superman can't stand alone against the power of Warworld. So the Man of Steel gathers the toughest group of super-heroes ever assembled, Dirty Dozen-style, but will even they be enough to stop this new threat? The cosmically astute Metron has visited Almerac. He is speechless to see the civilisation reduced to ruins by Warworld's attack. He is musing when he is suddenly attacked telepathically by Brainiac . He is captured but manages to teleport his Mobius Chair to Earth. Meanwhile, Dubbilex, Superman and Guardian are removing the debris inside Project Cadmus when the Mobius Chair appears. Dubbilex senses that something sinister has befallen Metron. While they are at this, the Gods Orion and Lightray appear in search of Metron. Superman informs them that Warworld has captured Metron. They leave for Warworld without heeding to Superman's warnings. Upon Warworld, Orion and Lightray are quickly subdued by, Supergirl, Maxima and other warriors. Superman is telepathically mocked by Brainiac. He realises that he will need the help of other heroes to win this battle. So he contacts Lex Luthor for equipment and then goes out in search of others. Superman requests Deathstroke to be his team's field leader, meets Diana and Aquaman and then broadcasts the news all over the World. Heroes assemble from all over the World to listen to Superman. Meanwhile, Aquaman is attacked underwater by Brainiac's Headship and captured. The Headship appears outside the Heroes' headquarters with him. Notes: Triangle 1992 #10. “SON OF SUPERMAN” part 7! In this epilogue issue, Superman considers the toll his battles with the Eradicator and Doomsday have taken on his family and the need for a normal life. But can the Man of Steel ever take a day off? Clark decides to spend his day with his family. It's the final night of the Hamilton County Fair, the perfect oppurtunity! Clark wants to have a nice family get-together for a change. Lois agrees provided that he won't don the cape or as she calls it "superman-ing". Clark assures her, he won't do that and gives her his cape to prove it. It's evening and the Kent family arrive at the County Fair. There are all sorts of entertainment for everyone. Jon is having the time of his life. There are some men rather secretive at the Fair. There are always people who ruin things and as it turns out, those men are planning something heinous. It's not clear what they have up their sleeve, but they do have guns at their disposal. Clark notices it due to his super hearing but there's nothing he can do due to the his promise to Lois. However, some time later he did manage to hand them over to the police by wearing medieval clothes. Ultimately, they ride on a rollercoaster while they hear the men talking about a weird guy handing over criminals to the police. Lois is infuriated, but Clark and Jon ignore it and yell "up, up and away!". “SON OF SUPERMAN” part 6! The evil Eradicator faces off against Superman and son in a battle that may save the day but destroy the moon. Superman vs Eradicator, the final battle of this arc where Superman doesn't hold back. Synopsis Superman attacks the Eradicator, but this time it's different. This time, Superman goes all-out against Eradicator. The Eradicator insists that Jon is a mistake due to him being a half-breed. Clark finds this absurd and tells him that he's completely wrong. Superman reaches for Krypto (who's still inside Eradicator) and tells him to follow Superman's voice and bite his way out. That is exactly what Krypto does, as he rips Eradicator chest in half. Citizens of Metropolis are watching footage of the Moon where Superman has defeated the Eradicator. Not only Metropolis, but the whole world is seeing this. The citizens are baffled, in a positive way, as they now trust this incarnation of Superman and want him to remain on planet Earth. There's one welcoming surprise for Jon: Superman introduces him to Batman and Wonder Woman as the new Superboy! “SON OF SUPERMAN” part five! The Eradicator is unstoppable and it has forced Superman to leave Earth behind to keep his son from harm. Superman takes the battle to another place in order to keep Metropolis save. The moon is the perfect place. There's also a convenient place on the moon, the Batcave. Synopsis Superman carries Lois and Jon to the moon. Once they are on the moon, they enter the Batcave. Jon asks his dad to call in the Justice League, they can help them out and have an awesome team-up. Clark refuses, the Justice League is too busy at the moment. Apart from that, they shouldn't know Jon has powers. The Eradicator interrupts them while they're having a conversation. Superman fights him, but this time the Eradicator acts quickly. He opens his mouth to "eradicate" Superman. Jon tells him to open his mouth or he'll open it for him. Unfortunately, his heat vision has no impact at all. Jon runs away from the Eradicator, meanwhile Lois puts on the Hellbat suit. Now Jon and Lois strike together. Superman asks to souls within the Eradicator to help him out one more time. Clark consumes their powers and manages to exit the Eradicator through his mouth. Superman thanks his son and wife for holding their own, he'll take it over from them. “SON OF SUPERMAN” part four! The battle for Jon hits Metropolis as the Eradicator targets Superman’s son! Can the Man of Steel protect the city and his son against the Kryptonian executioner—or will he have to make a sacrifice? Superman and Superboy vs the Eradicator. The souls of Krypton are inside the Eradicator. Synopsis Superman and his son (Superboy) attack the Eradicator with their combined powers. They bash his head and it looks like they have won, but then the unexpected happens. The souls of Krypton are released. All this time, the souls were inside the Eradicator, but now they're free. Unfortunately, it's not for the good as they claim the bodies of random citizens of Metropolis. The souls have entered Clark's body as well, or at least under the influence, as he's screaming that they're exiles and that they are lost. However, Pa Kent appears in his subconscious as he tells that it's the duty of the living to carry on the legacy so that the dead can be free. Clark is now fully in charge of his body. He immediately grabs Lois and Jon, puts them in a sub and flies far, far away. “THE SON OF SUPERMAN” Chapter Three: In #3, with a touch that means death, the Eradicator proves he’s a match for Superman, but his super-powered offspring may be more than anyone can handle—including the Man of Tomorrow. The Eradicator has arrived and he's after the Kent family. Can Superman put a stop to it? Synopsis Clark and Lois bring their son to the Fortress of Solitude, because their they have access to Kryptonian tech, which they need in order to find out why Jon is still unconscious (after the fall he took back at the barn). Having entered the Fortress, the first person they stumble upon is the Eradicator. Clark, surprised yet furious, attacks him while asking him how he broke into the Fortress. Lois tells Clark to stop, the walls are already cracking. The fight between the two continues and the walls start collapsing. Lois and Jon are in danger and as the wall collapses, it is the Eradicator who saves them in time. Clark is quite surprised by this and the Eradicator tells him to settle this somewhere else. Eradicator tells Superman that the Kryptonian race is the one true race. His goal is to preserve the purity of the race. Since Jon is half human and half Kryptonian, he would need to eradicate the "impure" half. After this conversation, Eradicator heads over to Jon and as he opens his mouth to eradicate him, Krypto jumps at the right moment in front of Jon, thereby sacrificing himself. Superman doesn't hold his punches, as he beats him continuously without taking a break. Jon is mourning Krypto's death for a wee bit, stands up consumed by rage. “THE SON OF SUPERMAN” Chapter Two: In #2, Superboy takes flight as he accompanies his father, the Man of Steel, on their first mission together to confront a creature more dangerous than anyone realizes. Will the duo triumph...or will they die when they face the lethal force of the Eradicator? In this story, Superman teaches his son how to use his powers. Later, Jon and Kathy have a talk. A new threat is coming. Synopsis Clark takes his son to his first "mission", saving a sub from a huge one-eyed tentacle monster. Clark tells Jon to watch, listen and learn. Unfortunately, the monster attacks Jon, Clark acts fast and opens its eye. Clark tells Jon to use his heat vision precisely, but he was too reckless. Second time, Clark tells him that he can do it, he's his son. Jon focuses and blasts one more time, this time effectively. The monster leaves, therefore Clark and Jon can return home. Back at the farm, Jon and Kathy are sitting in a tree, discussing Jon's powers he has yet to control. Kathy reassures him that he will do fine, in fact, she feels safe being around him. The branch breaks in half, Jon falls to the ground. Cobb Branden, Kathy's grandfather brings Jon home, who's a bit injured. Towards the end of the story, we see a familiar face reaching the Fortress of Solitude, it's none other than the Eradicator. “THE SON OF SUPERMAN” Chapter One The Last Son of Krypton must decide whether to help his young son use his new and rapidly increasing abilities, or hide them from the world. THE CREATORS: The team supreme that brought fans the adventures of Damian Wayne in BATMAN AND ROBIN returns for the adventures of Superman and his offspring. NOW SHIPPING TWICE MONTHLY! This story takes place after Superman: Rebirth #1 . At Hamilton County, Lois and Clark are trying to build a new life with their son, Jonathan Kent. However, it seems that hiding their secret identity isn't easy, especially for Jon. Synopsis Clark Kent is mourning the death of Superman (New52 incarnation) at his grave alongside Pa and Ma Kent's graves. He realizes that this world still needs a Superman, therefore he dons the cape once more. In the evening, Clark wakes up due to the lightning. Unfortunately, it hit their barn, leaving the animals in danger. Clark goes in the barn and saves the animals before they get hurt. The next day, Jon asks him if they are going to build the barn. Clark tells him that they have other chores to do first. Clark wants Jon to promise him he won't use his powers. Jon promises his dad and leaves with his cat Goldie to fill the corn harvester. As Jon is running behind Goldie, a hawk is approaching Goldie and manages to grab him, at a fast pace. Jon is furious and wants his cat back, using his heat vision at the hawk would be the solution. Conversely, both the hawk and Goldie are dead. Saddened by the fact that his cat is now dead, he's also broken his promise. Moreover, his neighbour, Kathy Branden, has seen him using his powers. At dinner, Lois and Clark are having a conversation whereas Jon barely talks. After Kathy stops by their house to offer them milk, Lois and Clark both agree it will be nice to have a neighbour at Jon's age. Jon disagrees and finds nothing nice about it. Everything they do is a secret, his dad's secretly a superhero and his mom writes books under a secret name. In addition, Jon is secretly half human and half kryptonian. Clark tells him to go to his room to blow off steam. In his bedroom, he sneakily watches his dad discussing something with Batman and Wonder Woman. The Trinity turn their head and look at Jon, all of a sudden. Jon is surprised and immediately disappears in front of the window. His dad enters his room and tells him to come with him.
